Ashly Doug

After the shootings at the Republican baseball practice, Republican Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana initiated a Commitment to Civility signed by 47 members of the freshman class in the House of Representatives. The pledge said the members recognized the growing division in politics that was fueled by vitriol in public discourse. “One result has been a loss of trust in our institutions and elected officials,” the pledge reads.

Civility and kindness go together. A video of strangers being civil to each other demonstrates the power of civility and kindness,  https://www.lds.org/media-library/video/2011-04-008-the-civility-experiment?lang=eng

My book, How Love Wins: The Power of Mindful Kindness, is designed to help the reader incorporate mindful kindness into their lives

I also created a website https://www.feedkindness.com/ that contains a variety of resources to help you be mindfully kind to yourself, to your partner, children, friends, co-workers, community members, spiritual seekers, and social justice activists.
